Effects of this medicine

This medicine helps adhering/repairing corneal epithelial cells to promote corneal injury healing by binding to fibronectin. It has also multiple water molecules holding function within the molecule of the active ingredient and retains/stabilizes tears to prevent eyes from drying out.
It is usually used in the treatment of eye injury associated with Sjogren's syndrome and Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is ((        to be written by a healthcare professional))
  • In general, for adults, apply 1 drop at a time, 5 to 6 times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to your condition. It is usual to apply 0.1% preparation, however, if the effect is insufficient, apply 0.3% preparation. This medicine is 0.3% preparation. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor.
  • Before using, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water. Next, twist and remove the tip of the bottle and discard 1 to 2 drops to remove fragments of the bottle. Then, pull down your lower eyelid so that the dropper tip does not touch eye or eyelashes. After dropping the solution into your eye, do not blink, and keep your eyes closed for a while. Wipe off any excess liquid with a clean gauze or tissue.
  • After the dose, make sure to dispose the dropper. Once the cap is open, remaining solution must not be stored for later use.
  • If you need to use other eye drops at the same time, wait more than 5 minutes.
  • If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular applying schedule. You should not apply two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include itchy, stinging, bloodshot eyes and blepharitis. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
